In the running for the Local Authorities Trophy, Ma Ville Mon Shopping is a subsidiary of the La Poste group which helps retailers to go digital.

With the coronavirus crisis, the internet has taken an even greater place in the consumption habits of the French.

To help traders, artisans and producers to take the digitalization train, the La Poste group has set up Ma Ville Mon Shopping, a platform named in the local authorities category of the Trophées de l'Avenir 2021. Concretely, this is "a turnkey solution that allows you in a few minutes to create an online store and offer its customers new services such as click & collect and home delivery", indicates at the microphone of Europe 1 Thierry Chardy, the general manager.

15,000 traders across France

But Ma Ville Mon Shopping does not just set up a website for each merchant who wants it free of charge (the economic model being based on commissions), the system also includes "support which is done in conjunction with local communities , CCIs (chambers of commerce and industry) and CMAs (chambers of craftsmanship) ".

Ma Ville Mon Shopping supports "around 15,000 merchants across France in 3,600 cities" in 96 departments.

In total, the platform has "more than 350,000 purchasable references", further specifies Thierry Chardy.

Founded in 2017, this service intends to continue its development on "three axes": recruiting "massively" to increase from 20 to 50 people, continue technical improvement, but also communication.
