Jia Weiping, director of the National Primary Diabetes Prevention Office and counselor of the Shanghai Municipal Government, introduced that in the future, the screening, standardized management and two-way referral of diabetes and its complications will be deepened, timely detection and early intervention, reducing the progress of chronic complications of diabetes, and improving the community Diabetes and chronic disease management capabilities.
The Diabetes Community Screening Program was developed on the basis of exploring a seamless community management model "medicine and prevention" hospital in Nicheng Township in 2013.
