17 May 2021 The Minister for Relations with Parliament, Federico D'Incà, placed on behalf of the Government, the question of trust on the approval without changes of the Sostegni Decree in the text of the Commission, identical to that approved in the first reading from the Senate.



The explanations of vote on confidence, based on the agreements reached by the groups, are scheduled for tomorrow 18 May starting at 3 pm. The first 'calls' starting at 4.30 pm.



Subsequently, again in the same session tomorrow, there will be an illustration of the agendas for the provision.



The voting on the agendas will take place on Wednesday 19 May from 9.30, while the final explanations of vote will take place from 19. The final go-ahead for the provision is expected between Wednesday and Thursday. The Decree must be converted into law by 21 May.



The provision provides for contributions to companies damaged by the Covid-19 pandemic and measures to avoid job losses.



Aid to companies and for VAT numbers and aid for some specific economic sectors such as textiles, sport, concessions for small and medium-sized enterprises that invest in new technologies are foreseen. Expected news for the holiday bonus that can be requested not only by hotels but also by travel agencies. 



Also consider measures to avoid job losses due to the end of the freeze on redundancies with the provision of tax relief in the event that they hire or keep staff.
