17 May 2021 Contrasted closures for European stock exchanges: the positive exception this time is Milan, driven by expectations of economic recovery and training of restrictive measures. On the one hand, there is Piazza Affari, which gained a good rise (+ 0.39%). On the other hand, all the other main financial centers are down: London loses 0.15%, Frankfurt 0.13% and Paris 0.28%. The spread between the Italian BTP and the German Bund has widened up to 125 basis points, and then reduced to 122. The yield on our ten-year bond rises to 1.11%, but in reality the same growth trend concerns the bonds of the whole the eurozone (including the Bund). Inflation still worries on Wall Street. Dow Jones down -0.46% and Nasdaq -0.79%.
