“We have stopped sales and canceled all flights to Turkey for June, with the exception of two flights per week to Istanbul authorized by the headquarters, so as not to inconvenience passengers in connection with possible cancellations,” he said.

According to an Aeroflot representative, if new solutions appear, the airline is ready to revise the schedule and, if necessary, increase the number of flights and open ticket sales for them.

Earlier, the headquarters did not confirm media information that the restriction of air traffic between Russia and Turkey was extended until June 30.

In April, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced that Russia had decided to limit air traffic with Turkey from April 15 to June 1 due to the coronavirus situation.

The URA.RU news agency reported that the PCT assessed the situation with the summer holidays of Russians against the background of restrictions on air traffic with Turkey due to the coronavirus.
