China News Service, May 17 According to Taiwan media reports, Taiwan’s new crown pneumonia epidemic has expanded. The Taiwan Epidemic Epidemic Command Center announced today that there have been 335 new confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia, including 333 local cases and 2 imported cases.
Among the 333 new local cases, 158 in Taipei City accounted for the most, followed by 148 in New Taipei City, 10 in Taoyuan City, 6 in Keelung City, 5 in Changhua County, 2 in Yilan County, 2 in Taichung City, and 2 in Hsinchu City. 1 case in county and 1 case in Miaoli county.
According to statistics from Taiwan's Zhongshi News Network, in the past six days, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Taiwan has reached 451, with 333 new local cases, and 784 local cases in just 7 days.
