Al-Jazeera correspondent Hisham Zaqout said that the Israeli warplanes launched more than 60 airstrikes after midnight, concentrated in the west and north of Gaza, in addition to the south, amid an intense flight of Israeli warplanes.

The reporter monitored thick smoke and the sound of large explosions in different areas of Gaza City and its environs, and the Israeli army launched intense raids near the Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, and bombed the Ansar government complex, which includes many government and security headquarters.

The raids also targeted Khan Yunis and the Tal Al-Hawa residential neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Ambulances are facing difficulties in moving in light of the intense Israeli bombardment of Gaza.

The Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the Israeli occupation bombed, earlier tonight, the areas east of Khan Yunis and the Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps in the Gaza Strip, and the occupation warplanes bombed a house in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

On the other hand, the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Hamas - bombed the settlement of Ofakim near the Gaza Strip, and renewed its bombardment on the city of Beersheba with a rocket boost, in response to the continuing aggression against civilians. This comes after the Palestinian factions today bombed a number of settlements near the cover of the Gaza Strip, as the Qassam Brigades confirmed - in a statement - the bombing of the cities of Beersheba, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Netivot, and Raem Base with rocket barrages, and also bombed the Sufa military support site in the Gaza envelope with mortar shells, and said This came in response to "the massacre against civilians at night in Gaza and the attack on the people of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem."

The Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - announced that it bombed the settlement of Nir Ishaq with a batch of rockets, and also bombed with mortar shells the Amitai base and a company of the Givati ​​Brigade near the Kosovim military site.
