Epilogue of a series of several months, the group must formalize the recruitment of the person who will take the general direction after the ousting of Emmanuel Faber, obtained in mid-March by investment funds.

A board of directors meets on Monday under the chairmanship of Gilles Schnepp and "will take the decision" to appoint its new general manager, who will "probably" be announced Monday at the end of the day, said a source close to the file. .

The agenda of this board of directors Monday afternoon is "the appointment to the post of general manager of Antoine de Saint-Affrique", according to the daily Le Figaro.

The French flagship of the food industry (Actimel, Evian, Blédina brands, etc.) had set out to find someone to replace Emmanuel Faber in this position he had held since 2014. Mr. Faber was subsequently appointed president -director general in 2017.

According to the business daily Les Echos, only two candidates remained in the running: Antoine de Saint-Affrique, until now managing director at cocoa giant Barry Callebaut, and Nathalie Roos, who until recently was managing director of the professional products division at L 'Oréal.

The name of Antoine de Saint-Affrique's successor at the head of Barry Callebaut was announced at the end of April by the Swiss group.
