The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority uses advanced technologies and mechanisms to enhance its response to fire accidents, most notably the "Panther" fire engine and "firefighter robot" that pumps large quantities of water, reaching 10,000 liters per minute.

First Assistant Khaled Muhammad Al-Shehhi said, “The fire engine (Panther) is the first responder in advanced accidents, due to its high efficiency in firefighting operations, as it contains three tanks of extinguishing materials, which are the water tank, the foam tank, and the powder tank, in addition to rescue equipment. Modern equipment for shearing and hydraulic opening, in the event of a fire ».

The authority affirmed its keenness to use artificial intelligence in firefighting operations in line with the development in the use of the latest advanced global technologies, which contribute to achieving the highest levels of global response.

It mentioned that among the new technologies is the "firefighting robot" to combat fires, which works with remote control technology at a distance of no more than 500 meters, and is characterized by the presence of a bulldozer in the front, and pumps large quantities of water up to 10 thousand liters per minute with the regular system and the water spray system It can also pump large quantities of air currents and pull weights of up to 3.8 tons.

The firefighting robot is used to put out various types of fires in industrial areas, tunnels, and closed car parks.

The authority is keen to provide its cadres of firefighters with the best equipment from the machines, as it has added to its teams three robots with high specifications to extinguish fires.

Early this year, Abu Dhabi Police launched a "Razeen" rescue, fire and ambulance unit on the "Razeen" Street between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

It is equipped with the latest equipment and advanced technologies in the fields of firefighting, rescue and ambulance to achieve an effective response to protect lives and property, as it is a first responder in dealing with all reports.
