Blankenburg (dpa / sa) - Two motorcyclists were fatally injured in a serious traffic accident between Hasselfelde and Cattestedt (Harz district).
A 68-year-old biker got into the opposite lane in a right curve for an unexplained cause and collided with an oncoming car, the police said.
A second motorcyclist at the age of 65 then collided with the fallen 68-year-old and also fell.
Both motorcyclists died at the scene of the accident.
A third motorcyclist was hit in the leg by debris being thrown around and was slightly injured.
