They are often seen on the Hålby line in Strängnäs and train, but the seven permanent members are spread over several places in and outside Sörmland.

They have different amounts of experience in enduro but a strong common driving force: they love their sport and want more women to discover it.

Believe in doubling

One of the goals in the near future is to take part in the annual enduro competition Gripendygnet in Strängnäs, which this year will be held on 6-8 August.

Then they get reinforcement from a whole bunch of new girls who will start in the team's name.

- We line up with three teams, and a girl will compete in the Dakar class.

We believe that we will double the number of girls who drive compared to previous years, says Sophie West who is one of the founders of BTS racing.

Want to see collaborations

The team's idea of attracting more girls to the sport, they convey through social media, among other things.

But is the enthusiasm of an individual team enough to influence an entire sport?

- The more people who try to make it easier for girls, the better.

A collaboration between different actors that would be the best.

There are competition organizers who have now set goals that they will attract more girls, lower competition fees and so, I think it feels great fun, says Frida Gustafsson, one of the team members.
