The funeral of 4 martyrs

In the same context, hundreds of Palestinians, on Sunday, mourned the bodies of 4 martyrs who were killed by Israeli army bullets during the escalating confrontations in the occupied West Bank for more than a month.

In the town of Tarqumiya, in the city of Hebron, in the south of the West Bank, the funeral of the martyr Wagdy al-Jaafara (30 years), who was killed by Israeli army bullets south of Hebron, took place last night.

In the same city, hundreds of people buried the body of the 15-year-old boy, Muhammad Freijat, after he was killed, on Sunday, of wounds he sustained on Thursday, during clashes in the city center.

And in the town of Saida, north of Tulkarm, hundreds of people buried the body of the martyr Yassin Hamad (25 years), who was killed last night with a bullet in the heart during confrontations with the occupation forces, in the town of Zita.

And in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, hundreds of people buried the body of the martyr Tariq Sanoubir, after he died, on Sunday, of wounds sustained during clashes with the occupation forces in the town a few days ago.

And on Sunday, the death toll from the Israeli aggression in Palestine rose to 202, including 181 in Gaza and 21 in the West Bank, in addition to 5588 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Since April 13, the situation in the Palestinian territories has exploded as a result of brutal attacks committed by the Israeli police and settlers in Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its environs, and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, following Israeli efforts to evacuate 12 Palestinian homes and hand them over to settlers.

Since Monday, the situation has become more tense, with Israel launching aggression, with aircraft and artillery, against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Targeting an Israeli car in the eastern West Bank

On the other hand, an Israeli woman was slightly injured in the Jordan Valley, when the Israeli army fired at a car she was traveling and her family by mistake, according to Hebrew media.

On Sunday, the official Kan channel said that soldiers accidentally fired live ammunition and rubber bullets at an Israeli car on Saturday, which was carrying a man, his wife and their five children.

The Israeli family was traveling on Road No. 90 towards the south, and near the Palestinian town of Al-Auja in the occupied Jericho governorate, they were surprised by burning tires and two Palestinian cars parked closely.

According to the same source, the driver wanted to move away, fearing that the talk was about a Palestinian ambush, so he quickly crossed the road and went in the opposite direction to get away from the burning tires.

At that point, bullets were fired at the car, which led to the windshield and back windshield shattered, and the mother was slightly injured as a result of glass shards.

The driver stopped when he saw Israeli soldiers shooting at his family, and got out of it, shouting that we are Israelis.

The Israeli army said in a statement, but described it as riots that broke out near the village of Al-Auja, during which Palestinians threw stones at an Israeli force that was at the scene.

He explained that the soldiers were closing the road at a close distance from the events, but they were surprised by a car speeding towards them in the opposite direction, so they felt in danger and shot at it.
