On 7 January and 12 April this year, Ivo opened two supervisory cases to examine Region Skåne's and the Västra Götaland region's management of risks in connection with the regions' introduction of their new American journal system Millennium.
Now Ivo has also decided on inspections of the system that is part of what in Skåne is called Skåne's digital care system, SDV, and in Västra Götaland's Future care information environment, FVM.
Calls security
The review is based on LIS, the law on information security for socially important and digital services.
Among other things, Ivo requests that the regions show which risk analyzes have been carried out or are planned, as well as any action plans.
Ivo also wants the regions to report on the ten most serious patient safety risks and report any measures of these risks.
Starts at the end of May
Ivo's inspection is expected to last for four days at the end of May / beginning of June.
