It is noted that the accident occurred at about 17:20 (16:20 Moscow time) on the 535th kilometer of the Nizhny Novgorod-Saratov highway.
“According to preliminary data, a female driver, driving a VAZ-2114 car, drove into the oncoming lane, where a collision with a truck took place.
As a result of the accident, the driver, passenger and two minor passengers - a boy born in 2011 and a girl born in 2014 - died on the spot from their injuries, ”the department said.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the collision of a minibus and a car in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, ten people were injured.
