Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The seven-day incidence has fallen again in the southwest.

In Baden-Württemberg, the value was 102.3, as the state health office announced on Saturday (as of 4 p.m.).

On Friday it was still at 107.1.

The incidence indicates the number of new infections with the coronavirus within the last 7 days per 100,000 inhabitants.

20 of the 44 regions were below the 100 mark, 4 of them even below 50. On Friday, 18 districts were below the 100 mark.

The incidence is still highest in the Zollernalb district, where it was 217.0 on Saturday (Friday: 217.6).

It is lowest in the Emmendingen district at 39.7 (Friday: 42.7).

The number of confirmed corona infections in Baden-Württemberg since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 1,400 to 477,993 cases.

In the meantime, 9,694 people have died of an infection with or related to the coronavirus - 8 more than the day before.

An estimated 431 551 people (plus 3103) are considered to have recovered.
