At a meeting with law enforcement agencies, Minnikhanov was informed about the identification of "a large number of resources on the Internet that heroize the criminal in their publications, daily telling the details of his life."
The head of Tatarstan demanded to harshly suppress such actions, noting that the authors of such publications “not only do not condemn a cruel crime, but encourage such actions to be committed”.
“Therefore, any attempts to romanticize a criminal should be under the special gaze of law enforcement officers,” he concluded.
