Israeli-Palestinian conflict: rally in support of Israel in Germany

The current tensions in the Middle East sparked protests in several countries this weekend.

In Europe, various solidarity rallies with the Palestinians have taken place.

This was also the case in Germany.

In Berlin, various Jewish organizations had for their part called for a rally in support of Israel and against the anti-Semitic acts and statements of the last days in Germany.

They were a few hundred to meet this Saturday in Potsdam Square to express their solidarity with Israel and condemn the anti-Semitic slippages in Germany in recent days.

The demonstration was organized by different Jewish organizations and German-Israeli society.

As every time the situation in the Middle East ignites, the conflict is exported.

In Germany, the Jewish community and its members are then attacked and held responsible by pro-Palestinian demonstrators for the situation there.

This is also happening in other countries, but in Germany, where the extermination of the Jews was planned, the shock and the reactions are all the stronger.

We want peace and an immediate end to the terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens

,” says Mike Delberg of the Berlin Jewish community.

The hatred expressed there also exists in Germany against our synagogues, in the streets or on social networks.

Attacks on synagogues do not constitute protest against Israel.

This is just the expression of primitive anti-Semitism.

Various anti-Semitic incidents linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have shocked Germany in recent days, drawing unanimous condemnations from the political class who have expressed their solidarity with the Jewish state.

On Thursday, officials from different parties will speak at another demonstration at the foot of the Brandenburg Gate.
