The "Times of Israel" newspaper said that the UAE was following the normalization agreements that Arab countries signed with Israel;

Including Abu Dhabi, known as the "Abraham Accords," is in contact with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) regarding several potential infrastructure projects to improve the lives of residents in the Gaza Strip.

The newspaper stated - quoting an unnamed "high" Emirati official - that such projects "will not go forward if Hamas does not maintain calm in the region", in light of the recent escalation between the movement and the rest of the resistance factions and the Israeli army.

"We are still ready and willing to promote civilian projects in cooperation with the Palestinian Authority and under the United Nations administration in Gaza," the Emirati official said. "But our basic and necessary condition is calm."

"If Hamas does not adhere to the complete calm, it is condemning the residents of the Gaza Strip to a life of suffering ... The movement’s leaders must understand that their policies harm, first and foremost, the people of Gaza."

It is noteworthy that the security and field escalation in the Gaza Strip has continued since last Monday, as the resistance factions bombed Israeli cities and towns in response to the Israeli army's launch of massive raids on all areas of the Strip.

The situation in the Palestinian territories has exploded since April 13, as a result of brutal attacks committed by the Israeli police and settlers in Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its environs, and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, following Israeli efforts to evacuate 12 Palestinian homes and hand them over to settlers.
