Kiel (dpa / lno) - The seven-day incidence in Schleswig-Holstein has fallen again.

The number of new infections with the coronavirus per 100,000 inhabitants within a week was 36.5, according to data from the Ministry of Health in Kiel on Saturday (as of May 15, 7:31 p.m.).

On Friday the value was 39.1, a week ago it was 50.

At the same time, eleven more corona deaths were reported.

140 newly reported infections were added within one day.

On Saturday a week ago it was 181.

According to the information, there were 154 Covid 19 patients in clinics, 3 less than the day before.

48 of them were therefore treated in intensive care units, 7 fewer than on Friday.

37 corona patients were ventilated.

The number of deaths related to the virus since the start of the pandemic now stands at 1,564.

The regions with the highest incidence are Kiel (69.7) and the Duchy of Lauenburg (66.2).

The values ​​are lowest in Flensburg (12.2) and in the Ostholstein district (20.9).
