The Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - launched a major missile strike in what is known as the greater Tel Aviv area and other Israeli areas after midnight in response to the bombing of the evacuation tower in Gaza.

Al-Jazeera correspondent Shirin Abu Aqleh quoted Israeli sources as saying that 42 rockets fell on Tel Aviv and central Israel after midnight, while the sirens sounded 3 times.

The correspondent added that a missile fell on the main street No. 6 in Tel Aviv.

Israeli media said that 10 Israelis were wounded while fleeing to bomb shelters after rockets were fired from Gaza.

Al-Jazeera correspondent Elias Karam said that a barrage of rockets was launched from the Gaza Strip from several directions towards Tel Aviv and its northern, southern and eastern suburbs.

The bombing targeted the cities of Rishon Lezion, Herzliya and Ptah Tikva in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, and there were reports that rockets had reached the Hasharon area, north of Tel Aviv, which means an expansion of the target areas.

Violent raids on Gaza

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation continued to target towers and homes in the Gaza Strip, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to continue despite his admission that difficult days await Israel.

After midnight, the Al-Jazeera correspondent said that violent Israeli air strikes targeted western Gaza City and hit areas near Al-Shifa Hospital.

And the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the total number of victims of the Israeli aggression during the 6 days of the escalation in Gaza reached 145 martyrs, including 41 children and 23 women, in addition to 1100 injuries.
