Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - The third Ecumenical Church Congress comes to an end this Sunday (10 a.m.) with an open-air church service at the Weseler shipyard on the banks of the Frankfurt Main.
Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is also expected to attend the service under the motto "look - look through - go there"
Due to the corona pandemic, the Kirchentag could only take place to a limited extent and differently than originally planned.
Instead of meeting thousands of people from different churches, there were digital and decentralized formats.
Only a few meeting worship services took place at a distance and with a hygiene concept.
The motto of the third Ecumenical Church Congress was “Look”.
