Paris SG reserves the right to challenge the suspension of its star striker Neymar before the Coupe de France final against Monaco on Wednesday, which he should normally miss, coach Mauricio Pochettino said on Saturday.

"This is something the club are studying in the coming days, for him and Presnel Kimpembe. We are thinking about it," said the Argentinian technician.

Under the threat of suspension due to the suspension of which he received at the beginning of April after his expulsion against Lille in the Championship, "Ney" received a yellow card in Montpellier on Wednesday, during the semi-final of the Cup won on penalties (2-2, 6-5 in tabs).

This warning led the Federal Disciplinary Commission on Friday to revoke the suspension, and therefore to suspend it for one match.

With the sanction taking effect on Monday, May 17, the Brazilian should therefore not participate in the final scheduled for Wednesday.

"I would like to understand the face of the guy who made the rule of boxes in France! This one deserves to be applauded. What confusion!", Reacted Neymar on Instagram.

Except that the PSG has the possibility of requesting conciliation from the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), an approach which may suspend the decision of the FFF.

Olympique Lyonnais acted in this way at the end of April for the case of their defender Mattia De Sciglio, whose suspension decided by the League (LFP) was temporarily lifted until the CNOSF conciliators return their proposal.

If PSG addresses the CNOSF before Wednesday, this could allow Neymar to play against Monaco, if the body does not decide before.

Defender Presnel Kimpembe, he was sanctioned with three suspension matches by the League (LFP) after his expulsion in Rennes (1-1) last Sunday.

In the meantime, the Brazilian N.10 is expected Sunday against Reims, for the 37th day of Ligue 1.
