On the evening of the 14th, a strong gust of hail and heavy rain broke out in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province in eastern China.



All four people were killed and 149 people were injured in the strong winds reaching a maximum speed of 60 meters per second.

Rescue work took place overnight on the rubble of the collapsed building, but eventually 8 people were killed and more than 230 were injured.



About 130 houses were damaged, and 8,000 square meters of temporary buildings were also severely damaged.



In Wuhan, two workers who were cleaning the outer walls of high-rise buildings in the last 10 days were also killed by a sudden strong wind.
