The Emirati engineer, Sheikha Abdullah Ali, designed a device that examines aircraft components to study the effect of external factors on them, such as pressure, rotation and rotation, and achieved many titles and awards during her educational career, which she concluded this year with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, to be the only citizen. She explained her drive, stressing that she seeks, through her studies in mechanical engineering, to participate in enriching the contributions made by mechanical engineers to improve and change the way of life for the better, through designing, manufacturing, operating and developing machines, or devices used in various sectors.

The Emirati engineer, Sheikha Abdullah Ali, joined the Emirates Gifted Association since her childhood, due to her remarkable excellence and talent in mathematics, and she won many titles and awards, including the bronze medal in the Gulf Mathematics Olympiad, which was held in Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman, and the Young Scientists Award for two seasons (the two sessions) Fourth and Fifth) respectively in the major of mathematics, first place in a marathon competition at the United Arab Emirates University and the Symbols of Giving competition, and second place in the competition for educational research and studies, and participation in the skills program of the Sharjah Education Council in cooperation with Harrow House International College In the United Kingdom, and selecting them based on the personal characteristics of the course participants, to present the graduation ceremonies in the UAE and the United Kingdom.

Sheikha Abdullah said to "Emirates Today": “I chose mechanical engineering because it is a permanent engineering specialty that will not be interrupted, because it is an important part in many industries, and it is considered one of the main disciplines in engineering, as it is part of the industry, design, installation and operation of engines, and it is included in many systems. And applications and problem solving specialized in devices », noting that mechanical engineering is the product of most of the inventions witnessed by mankind, and it has many and varied job opportunities, and mechanical engineers are working on developing new promising machines and products, to improve human life.

She added: “Besides mechanical engineering, I studied a minor specialization, which is aviation sciences, and I benefited in my graduation project from the major and minor specialization, and I designed a device that examines aircraft components to study the effect of external factors in them, such as pressure, rotation and rotation, and the effect of this on different parts of the plane to avoid any problems in the future. And reduce the cost of maintaining aircraft, ”indicating that its project is the first of its kind in the region.

She referred to her studies of a third sub-specialty completely separate from engineering, which is Arabic and translation, due to her intense love for the opposing language, pointing out that the study of the Arabic language, which is rich in literary vocabulary, aesthetic images and grammar, as well as comparative studies between Arabic and English, contributed to the development of her personal skills.

It is noteworthy that, before joining the university, she used to participate in scientific competitions, and she was a team leader of both sexes, confirming that she had the ability to manage the team and win prizes in these competitions.

Sheikha indicated that she learned and trained on many tasks during her studies, including research, design, manufacture of various products, coordination and power generation, in addition to the areas of supervision, innovation, management and engineering consultancy, pointing out that she aspires to work in her field of specialization, provided that this entity or institution is Interested in creativity and innovation, to continue to develop itself on the personal and academic levels.
