The incident occurred outside Laholm in September last year.
The now convicted man had previously had a relationship with the woman in the house, who was not at home at the time.
Two of her acquaintances were waiting on the terrace when the shot was fired.
A man was slightly injured by broken glass.
The 38-year-old was arrested the day after the incident and was then under the influence of various drug-classified drugs.
He was sentenced to nine years in prison for, among other things, attempted murder, aggravated unlawful threats, vandalism, aggravated weapon crime and drug smuggling.
The man denies the crime.
