Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - The corona visit restrictions in the Hessian old people's and nursing homes will be significantly relaxed for fully vaccinated and recovered citizens from this Saturday (May 15).

According to the new ordinance of the Hessian state government, these people do not have to test before entering the homes.

In addition, there is no longer a mask requirement in the rooms of the old people's and nursing homes if the resident has recovered or is fully vaccinated.

The new regulations in the country also completely no longer limit the number of daily visits for residents of the homes.

In principle, the same rule also applies to other areas of public life in Hessen: Anyone who is fully vaccinated or who has survived a corona infection in the last six months will be treated equally to those who tested negative and will no longer be counted in future contact restrictions.
