Wetzlar (dpa / lhe) - A 78-year-old apparently had a traffic accident in the Lahn-Dill district, but can no longer remember it.

Local residents had injured the woman in Wetzlar-Steindorf on Thursday last week and found her standing on the sidewalk in shock, the police announced on Friday.

She was taken to hospital with several broken bones.

Your car had significant accident damage on the passenger side, which, according to the police, came from a collision with a guardrail or other obstacle.

The car had been parked in the street a short time beforehand by an elderly man who had apparently helped the woman.

The man then left.

At first it was not known where the accident occurred.

The elderly woman could only remember that she was shopping in Wetzlar-Dutenhofen and wanted to go home.

The police are now looking for witnesses, especially the man who probably helped the 78-year-old after the accident.
