Also, as reported in the Russian Foreign Ministry, "topical issues of Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which are under consideration by the Security Council and the UN General Assembly, were touched upon."
Earlier, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called for an immediate de-escalation and an end to hostilities in the Gaza Strip and Israel.
