Juventus are playing a crucial game on Saturday against Inter Milan, which can deprive them of the Champions League, showing a European weekend that will also see Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski try to dethrone Gerd Müller.

- Germany: the Lewandowski attraction -

All eyes will be on Saturday (3.30 p.m.) on Robert Lewandowski, who only needs one goal when traveling from Munich to Freiburg to equal the most legendary of Bundesliga records: the 40 goals in one season scored in 1971 -72 by the "Bomber" Gerd Müller, already in the Bayern jersey.

Statistics plead the cause of the Pole, author of 39 goals in 27 games played: he scored at least once in the last four meetings against Freiburg, and always before the 24th minute!

Two days from the end, interest will also focus on the fight for the Champions League.

Bayern, already champion (74 pts), and its runner-up Leipzig (64 pts) being already assured of their ticket, there are still two places to be allocated between Wolfsburg (60 pts), Dortmund (58 pts) and Frankfurt (57 pts).

Wolfsburg is in the best position, but a more than perilous trip awaits it in Leipzig on Sunday (8:30 p.m.).

The same day, Dortmund, winner of the German Cup against Leipzig (4-1) on Thursday, goes to Mainz (6 p.m.) and, the day before (Saturday 3:30 p.m.), Frankfurt travels to Schalke, red lantern and only team already relegated in the second division.

- Spain: break point for Atlético -

In Spain, the title race is in full swing: while Barça (3rd, 76 pts) has probably renounced the coronation by conceding the 3-3 draw at Levante on Tuesday, the two Madrid rivals will fight a battle from a distance at the multiplex of the 37th and penultimate day of La Liga, Sunday (6.30 p.m.).

Atlético Madrid, still the leader (80 pts), receives Osasuna, while Real Madrid (2nd, 78 pts) will have to negotiate a perilous trip to the field of Athletic Bilbao.

Barca, for their part, host Celta Vigo.

Also worth noting is the tempting top-of-the-table poster between Unai Emery's Villarreal and Julen Lopetegui's Sevilla FC.

In addition, four teams stand in three points in the red zone: Eibar (20th, 30 pts), Elche (19th, 30 pts), Valladolid (18th, 31 pts) and Huesca (17th, 33 pts) will play for their maintenance .

- England: last chance for the C1 -

Manchester City having been crowned Tuesday, the suspense in the Premier League returns to the race for the Champions League, for the 36th day from Friday to Sunday.

Leicester City (3rd, 66 pts, one more match) and Chelsea (4th, 64 pts, one more match) face each other on Saturday in the FA Cup final.

It is therefore up to their pursuers to play.

After his great victory at Manchester United (4-2) Thursday night, Liverpool (5th) returned to 4 lengths of the Blues before going Sunday (5.30pm) to West Bromwich, already condemned.

West Ham (6th, 58 pts) must win in Brighton, assured of his maintenance, Saturday (9:00 p.m.) if he does not want to put aside his dreams of Europe.

The last contender is Tottenham (7th, 56 pts).

It would almost take a miracle for Spurs to play in the Champions League next year, but for now, it will be about getting the best out of Wolverhamtpon on Sunday (3:05 p.m.).

- Italy: Atalanta and Milan touch on goal

Another victory and the ticket for the Champions League will be in their pocket, even before the last day, for Atalanta Bergamo (2nd) and AC Milan (3rd), who respectively face Genoa (14th) and Cagliari (15th) ).

The "Dea" like the Rossoneri are indeed three points ahead (75 pts) on Juventus (5th, 72 pts).

In case of victory, they could then approach more serenely their face to face which will conclude the season on May 23.

Andrea Pirlo's team, one point away from 4th place currently held by Naples, is for its part doomed to victory in the clash against Inter Milan of Antonio Conte, who has just robbed him of the scudetto after nine consecutive titles.

A defeat on Saturday (6 p.m.) against the Nerazzurri would indeed put Juve out of the race for the Champions League if Naples wins Sunday (12:30 p.m.) on the lawn of Fiorentina (13th).

"It was not easy to raise your head (after the 0-3 rout against Milan last Sunday), but we are still here, alive, we will fight to the end", assured Pirlo Wednesday after the victory against Sassuolo (3-1).
