Essen (dpa / lnw) - At the weekend, people in North Rhine-Westphalia have to expect dense clouds and frequent showers.
After a mostly dry Friday morning, the probability of rain increases from noon, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach.
Thunderstorms with heavy rain are also expected in the middle of the country and in the southwest.
In between the showers, however, the sun always fights its way out.
The maximum values are between 16 and 18 degrees.
On Saturday night it will be cloudy, but mostly dry.
It can get foggy in the Münsterland.
Saturday begins with thick clouds, later showers and thunderstorms.
The temperatures reach up to 17 degrees.
The DWD meteorologists also expect frequent showers and short thunderstorms on Sundays, the maximum values being between 14 and 17 degrees.
