May 14, 2021 "A mix between the Truman Show and the zoo". So Prince Harry described real life in an interview with Dax Shepard for his podcast 'The Armchair Expert'.

The Duke of Sussex revealed that he wanted to leave the royal family as early as he was 20 and explained that he eventually made that decision to break the cycle of "pain or suffering" he had experienced while growing up.

Among the reasons for his breakup with the Windsors Harry also mentioned the death of his mother Lady Diana. "I was twenty and I thought, 'I don't want this job, I don't want to do it. Look what happened to my mother? How can I ever build a family, have a wife, when I know it can happen again?" He confessed. .

As for his father Charles, the prince believes that he has somehow suffered or inherited the sufferings of his parent. "I don't think we should point fingers or blame anyone, but I certainly have experienced some form of pain or suffering due to the pain or suffering that my father or my parents may have suffered. So I want to make sure I break this cycle."

Harry and Meghan's farewell to royal duties began last year due to what they termed British media intrusions, as well as racist attitudes towards the Duchess. Prince Harry has criticized some US media but said they are still an improvement over the UK media. William's brother said he felt freer since he and his family moved to California: "Living here now I can get up and feel different," he said, saying he can ride a bike with Archie. "You can walk around feeling a little freer," concluded Harry.
