Ludwigshafen (dpa / lrs) - For International Museum Day this Sunday (May 16), 30 museums in Rhineland-Palatinate are presenting digital and analog offers.

For the second time, interested parties can take part in digital campaigns such as video readings, live digital tours and hands-on programs, the Rhineland-Palatinate Museum Association announced on Friday.

These include a “future travel agency” from the Palatinate Museum for Natural History in Bad Dürkheim and an interactive exhibition from the Eifel Museum.

Since March 8, museums in the state have been allowed to reopen subject to conditions with a corona incidence below 100 in a district or an independent city.

According to the association, some institutions have therefore also prepared analogue offers.

These included the Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Trier, the Museum am Strom Bingen and the Middle Rhine Museum.

Short-term changes are possible if the incidence values rise or fall.

The association therefore recommends checking the website of the museum in question before visiting.
