Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - The corona situation in Saxony-Anhalt has continued to relax.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported on Friday a value of 103.9 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days.
On Thursday, the RKI had given the seven-day incidence as 110.6.
State-wide leader was the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld with an incidence of 59.3 followed by Magdeburg with 62.3.
78.4 were reported for the Börde district, 92.4 for Anhalt-Bitterfeld and 92.6 for Jerichower Land.
Nationwide, the RKI reported 11,336 new infections with the corona virus.
According to these figures, the seven-day incidence on Friday was 96.5.
Overall, a good 3.5 million people in Germany were infected with the virus, and almost 86,000 died of or with Covid 19 disease.
