Offenbach (dpa / lrs) - For the weekend, people in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can expect changeable weather.
After a mostly dry Friday morning, more and more rain showers follow during the day, said the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach.
There may be thunderstorms with heavy rain locally.
The maximum values are between 16 and 19 degrees.
On Saturday night the rain decreases and it can get foggy.
According to the DWD forecast, Saturday starts cloudy but dry.
Later, the probability of rain increases, and occasional short thunderstorms are also possible.
For this purpose, a maximum of 16 degrees are reached.
The DWD meteorologists expect a similar mix of rain and short thunderstorms for Sunday.
The temperatures are then between 13 and 17 degrees.
