　　On December 4, 2020, a major fire accident occurred in the underground mine of Diaoshuidong Coal Industry Co., Ltd. in Yongchuan District, Chongqing City, which caused 23 deaths, 1 serious injury and direct economic loss of 26.32 million yuan.

The accident investigation team determined that the “12·4” major fire accident of Chongqing Yongchuan District Diaoshuidong Coal Industry Co., Ltd. was a production safety liability accident.

In accordance with the work deployment of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection established the "12·4" Major Fire Accident Review and Investigation Team of Yongchuan District Diaoshuidong Coal Industry Co., Ltd., and held accountability in accordance with regulations and laws.
