Offingen (dpa / lby) - When a cat was shot from an air rifle in the Swabian district of Günzburg, the animal was seriously injured in the eye.
The owner found her cat with a bleeding eye, the police said on Friday.
During treatment at a veterinary clinic following the incident on Wednesday, it was found that the English shorthair cat's eye had been injured by a bullet from an air rifle.
It had to be removed.
The pet had been in the woods in Offingen.
