Blinken assured Ghani of US support for Afghanistan and its security forces.
Also, the Secretary of State expressed condolences in connection with the recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.
Earlier, Ashraf Ghani did not rule out the possibility of a civil war in the republic after the withdrawal of US troops from the country.
