Rostock (dpa / mv) - For the first time in many weeks, all districts in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania fell below the important mark of 100 with the seven-day incidence on Friday.

This emerges from the current report by the State Office for Health and Social Affairs (Lagus).

Below the value of 100, the federal emergency brake no longer applies, which, among other things, provides for night exit restrictions.

The lowest number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days on Friday was in Western Pomerania-Rügen with 26.7, followed by Schwerin with 30.3, the district of Northwest Mecklenburg with 36.2 and the Hanseatic City of Rostock with 49.7.

The value was highest in the Mecklenburg Lake District with 82.9.

On Thursday, the district was the only one to record a value above 100 (106.2).

The office reported 59 new infections on Friday, 201 fewer than a week ago (as of 4:25 p.m.).

Six other people died from coronavirus infection.

The total number of corona deaths in the country rose to 1075.
