Viersen (dpa / lnw) - According to the police in Viersen, four to five young people attacked a homeless person (48) with a warning beacon and a construction site light and set a bicycle on fire.
The homeless was slightly injured in the attack on Sunday and did not want to be treated, the police said on Monday.
The man had set up his bed in the delivery area of a shop.
The youths tore off the surveillance camera there and threw the stolen warning beacon and the lamp at the homeless.
Then they set fire to the bike a few meters away.
The police are looking for witnesses.
