Wolfsburg (AP) - The soccer women of VfL Wolfsburg have signed the Dutch national player Jill Roord.
According to the Bundesliga club, the 24-year-old midfielder will receive a three-year contract on Monday.
Roord, who used to work for Bayern Munich, comes from the English top club Arsenal Women FC.
"At the age of 24, Jill is already a top performer in the Dutch national team, she has a lot of international experience for her age," said Wolfsburg's sporting director, Ralf Kellermann.
"With her qualities as an all-rounder in midfield, she is an absolute asset to our team."
