Langenargen (dpa / lsw) - Because of a foehn storm, three sailors overturned with their boat in Lake Constance.

A rubber dinghy that happened to pass by picked them up and brought them to the port of Langenargen, as the police announced on Sunday evening.

They were therefore unharmed.

The police towed the capsized sailing boat to Friedrichshafen on Sunday after the accident.

There it was secured in a port.

The foehn is a south wind that blows from Italy over the Alps to the north.
