The rate of corona cure in Egyptian hospitals increased to 74.4%

Today, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population revealed that the rate of recovery from Corona in isolation hospitals in the Republic has reached 74.4%, after the total number of people recovering from the virus increased to 176763 cases until today.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, and the official spokesperson of the ministry, stated that new cases are carried out after positive laboratory analyzes of the virus are confirmed, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.
He said, in an interview with "The Seventh Day" website, that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for a period of 10 days from infection is an indication of the patient's recovery from the Corona virus.
He stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Sunday, is 237410, including 176763 cases that have been cured, and 13904 deaths.
