"The prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of the city of Ulyanovsk is conducting an inspection in connection with the provision of medical assistance to nine residents of the region, including two young children, today, May 10, 2021," the statement said.
The department added that, according to preliminary information, the accident occurred through the fault of the driver of the Skoda Rapid car on the Ulyanovsk - Isheevka highway.
Earlier, nine people were injured in a collision between Skoda Rapid and Lada Priora in Ulyanovsk.
