President Moon Jae-in gave a special speech today (10th) on the 4th anniversary of his inauguration and presented the direction of state administration for the remainder of the year.



In a special speech for about 20 minutes at the Spring House of the Blue House today, President Moon said, "I feel that the remaining year is more important than ever in the past four years," and announced the goals of the state administration for the last year of his term, such as overcoming the corona and improving inter-Korean relations.

He said, "By the end of June, more than 13 million people have been vaccinated, and by the end of September, the first vaccination for all the target population will be completed, so that the goal of achieving mass immunity in November will be advanced ahead of the original plan.



Regarding real estate policy, President Moon said, "The key to stable housing is the key to people's livelihood," and said, "We will thoroughly block real estate speculation while protecting end users."



President Moon promised, "We will expand various policy support to alleviate the burden of end users so that homeless people, newlyweds, and young people can realize their dreams of providing a home."



Regarding inter-Korean relations, he pledged to "consider it as the last opportunity to move from unfinished peace to irreversible peace."



President Moon welcomed the direction of the Biden administration's policy toward North Korea, saying, "We will restore dialogue between the South and North Korea, and the United States and North Korea through the ROK-US summit scheduled in late May."Said.



He added, "I look forward to a good response from North Korea."



Regarding the spread of warfare against North Korea, he said, "It is never desirable to pour cold water on inter-Korean relations while violating the agreements between the two Koreas and the current laws," he said. "The government is compelled to enforce strict law."



They also expressed their willingness to recover the economy.



President Moon said, "Amidst international organizations are simultaneously raising our growth prospects, a growth forecast of more than 4% is coming out." "This year, we will mobilize the government's capacity to achieve a growth rate of more than 4% in one year. I will do it."



“The top priority leading to a complete economic recovery is job recovery,” he said. “We will focus on creating high-quality private jobs.”



President Moon also announced that he will expand the application of employment insurance and settle the national employment support system to alleviate the difficulties of businesses, small business owners, and self-employed people who have been hit hard by the coronavirus.
