Hennstedt (dpa / lno) - In Hennstedt in Schleswig-Holstein (Steinburg district), a thatched-roof house burned down to the ground.
Why the vacant country house and the directly adjacent stable caught fire on Sunday night was initially unclear, as the police announced on Monday.
The house was last uninhabited and no animals were housed in the stable.
The horses in a stable in the immediate vicinity were unharmed.
The criminal police are investigating.
