It is when a person has been unemployed for over a year that it is classified as long-term unemployed.

According to Arbetsförmedlingen's latest figures, this group is growing larger throughout Sweden, and Sörmland is thus no exception.

Four municipalities in eastern Sörmland stand out.

In Gnesta, Nyköping, Trosa and Oxelösund, the increase has been largest, calculated as a percentage.
