  Moon Jae-in emphasized that he has ordered vaccines equivalent to twice the total population of the country through all-round efforts of the government and the people.

The South Korean government plans to vaccinate more than 13 million people by the end of June this year, and strive to complete the first dose of vaccination by the end of September, and achieve the goal of forming herd immunity by November.

With regard to the summit meeting to be held in Washington with US President Biden at the end of May, Moon Jae-in said that he would use this to strengthen the alliance between South Korea and the United States, and to further coordinate policy toward the DPRK, seeking to resume the dialogue between the DPRK and the United States, and to achieve peace.
