Luxembourg (dpa / lrs) - Because of the corona pandemic, the Luxembourg airline Luxair closed 2020 with a net loss of 154.9 million euros.
Luxair announced on Monday that there was a drop in passengers of 71 percent.
In 2019, the bottom line was a profit of 8.1 million euros.
The pandemic, the duration and intensity of which cannot be foreseen, will continue to have an impact in the current financial year, the company said.
For the summer, however, Luxair expects the gradual resumption of activities.
The volume of freight transported by Luxaircargo is cautiously optimistic.
