The hope is that the money in the long term will help broaden the diversity in Swedish feature films.

With the support, Film i Öst wants to encourage new forms of storytelling and welcomes experimental and personal expressions both in terms of form and content, says Boel Zetterman, film developer at Film i Öst in Region Östergötland, in a press release.
The films must be ten minutes long and must be recorded and set in Östergötland. There are no requirements for previous experience and those interested can apply from 27 May to 24 July.
