Adem, as we call him, grew up in one of Stockholm's suburbs and was early attracted by criminals.
Already in his teens, he had started his own gang with his friends who sold drugs.
Still, he describes the child recruitment that is happening now as significantly worse than the one he experienced as a child.
- I am shocked by how common it is among young people now.
The family moved to another municipality to get Adem to break up with the gang, he was finally sent to his home country.
Today he is studying at a university and he says he has completely left the criminal life.
